Toronto CityPASS

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Time-limit is a major disappointment. Having only nine days to use the pass is very limiting and tiring for the whole family, specially ppl with children in school, end up missing two attractions, which made the whole family pass more expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent, enjoyable, informative I am very pleased with the attractions included by CityPASS that I bought for my family and I. One visit (one parking), covers CN Tower and Aquarium, and it can be done within 2-3 hours. Toronto Zoo is another great visit to land animals, to complement Aquarium and water animal world. We enjoyed Casa Loma, as well, checked all the rooms in the castle, went up to the top of both towers, via spiral, narrow stairs, and back down to 2 basements, where we discovered lots of celebrities wax figures, short videos of their movies/shows filmed in Casa Loma, as well as lots of filming prompts. We skipped ROM, and went to City Cruise. The trip was very informative, and we learned interesting details about downtown panorama and islands. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The last, but not the least, is the stunning view of Harbourfront. All the photos we took can be used as postcards! CityPASS does require to be used within 9 days, but, it is a good option not only for the guests and tourists, but for us living in Toronto, too. We do not always take time to enjoy these attractions, as they are 'right there', and 'we will go next weekend'. This way, with the CItyPASS, we have to find time, but the sights and experience are quite worth the effort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from delivered as advertised I got the CityPASS for 3 family members that was visiting Toronto. I loved it, they loved it. Firstly it was so easy to purchase. just as easy to plan your trips with the cityPASS app on my phone. tickets were there, bookings were there and all easy to access, not having to look for paper tickets or bookings. The App was very user friendly also. The flexibility it provides to account for bad weather days is amazing. The value these passes provide is very good. I was sceptical when i saw the potential savings but it is real. I have relatives coming again in July and i will be buying the CityPass for the 3 coming to visit. BIG BIG RECOMMENDATION FOR ANYONE VISITOR OR RESIDENT WHO WANTS TO SEE SOME OF THE SITES OF TORONTO.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent price, excellent choices, easy to use It was perfect for my recent trip to Toronto with two grandsons, ages 14 and 12. They had made a list of what they wanted to see and do, and everything they had chosen we were able to visit using CityPASS.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Abbreviated family visit to Toronto. I purchased two adult and one child CityPASSES for my MI family visitors. I produced a very tight schedule so that five visits could be fitted within the nine days, given that we had an out of town day and Father’s Day as interruptions. Yes we got downtown twice (Aquarium and the CN Tower), but an illness of a visitor meant we forfeited June 14, June 16 (Boat Cruise reservations), June 17. Consequently no ROM nor Casa Loma also.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beware with prices CityPASS has to fix their prices in their website. I’m in Canada, I wanted to visit the aquarium in Toronto, so I went to the aquarium’s website. I saw the CityPASS deal with other attractions and I thought I was getting a good deal, unfortunately CityPASS charged me in US DOLLARS making the purchase price way more expensive. I felt there was no savings at all. In terms of using their app and the tickets to visit the attractions, everything was straight forward, clear and precise. Never had an issue while scanning the tickets But very unhappy with the lack of information on prices and currency.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shame On CN Tower!! The Toronto City Cruise was good (tour guide good speaker & funny). However, I was very upset with CN Tower. I had made reservations for 12:00 - 1:00. I had visitors from Ireland. When the clerk scanned my tickets (4) on my phone she said they were not scanning & she referred me to another clerk. The other clerk kept insisting that I had cancelled my CN Tower reservation (said it 2 - 3 times) & I kept telling her that I had not cancelled my CN Tower reservations. Then she said that maybe the 9 days had passed in which to use my tickets. I told her that my 1st tour was only about 3 days ago. I told her I was concerned cause at this point we were about 15 minutes late to start our tour. Several times she asked me to bring up City Pass emails (checking I'm guessing to see if there were any emails saying that I had cancelled my reservation to CN Tower which there were not). She, eventually, said that we could go on the 12:30 to 1:30 tour. She DID NOT apologize for the troubles she caused us & the delays. I was very upset & embarrassed for CN Towers' staff unfriendly & uncooperative demure. My Toronto visitors were not impressed with the welcome they received at CN Tower & they sat down during the delay cause they were tired. Shame on Toronto!! I reflected on this matter after the fact & wondered if I was any way responsible for this mishap. My phone freezes from time to time so during ticket checking perhaps that is what happened. I can only guess. Even so, if that was the case, CN Tower staff need to give visitors the benefit of the doubt. As mentioned, I felt interigated & humiliated during this process. It is questionable whether I will ever use City Pass again!
